Pleated Garden Drawings
The visual vocabulary in my practice has developed while researching folding and pleating. Finally, drawings and textiles are physically combined.
Made with beautiful, thin Thai, Chinese and Japanese papers, the pleated work is fragile and thoughtful, evoking memories of hidden gardens and wanderings though quiet wooded glades.
